Welcome to our shop!

We started The Plant Room because of our love for plants after graduating with degrees in Natural Resources, Horticulture, & Plant Science. We began growing, collecting and selling exotic houseplants many years ago and it slowly evolved into a full blown business. We started out selling on facebook, etsy, and in local plant groups. We perfected the art of shipping live plants and finally made the move to this online shop. In June of 2021 we opened a brick & mortar location called The Plant Room and we absolutely love it! Come see us at our storefront in Springfield, Missouri (Maps). We drop new restocks for rare plants weekly and always have something new to choose from. But if you see something you like, add it to your cart fast because we sell out quick.

We have since expanded our shop to include a some great grow supplies and plant decor. We know it takes a lot to keep some plants alive so we are constantly testing out new products, and stocking our favorites to sell to our loyal customers.
